Key
Override Controls - Mechanical key override controls allow

Arm Rotation - The EDC turnstile's comfortable patron passage
width is combined with a smooth, self-centering, hydraulically
dampened arm rotation.

Electrical
Features - 110VAC input is stepped down and rectified for
low voltage 12VDC operation. Other features include junction box
with dual power receptacle and on/off power switch. All electric
models have been tested and approved by City of Los Angeles Dept.
of Building and Safety (Underwriters Laboratories Standard UL-325).

Activation
Interface - Alvarado's EDC turnstiles are activated (unlocked)
by supplying an isolated, momentary dry contact. No additional
interface relay is required.

Timed
Delay Auto Relock - Once activated (unlocked) the user has
20 seconds to pass through the turnstile. If not rotated within
the 20 second time period, the turnstile will automatically relock.
No additional time delay relay is required. As an option, an Adjustable
Timed Delay Auto Relock is also available, which allows adjustments
or disabling of the time delay relock.

Turnstile
Rotation Feedback Signal - A feedback signal in the form of
a relay output is sent each time there is a turnstile rotation.
Individual signals are provided for each direction of rotation.

Fail
Safe Option - This EDC turnstile option replaces the standard
Fail Lock mode. The Fail Safe option allows free rotation upon
loss of power for one or both electrically controlled directions.

| Counters
- EDC turnstiles are available with resettable or non-resettable
lithium battery powered counters recessed into the turnstile.

Reader
Mounting/Cutout - EDC's may be ordered with a cutout and internal
mounting hardware for most card reader systems, and can also accomodate
externally mounted readers.

| Red/Green
Status Lights - When used with access control systems, the EDC
may be ordered with Red/Green Status Lights. The Green LED pattern
is activated when a valid card is scanned, indicating that the turnstile
is momentarily unlocked to permit a single passage. The Red LED
pattern shows that the turnstile remains in locked status.

Red/Green/Yellow
Status Lights - When used with access control systems, EDC turnstiles
may be ordered with Red / Green / Yellow status lights. Yellow LED's
show the turnstile is ready to scan. A valid scan unlocks the turnstile
and is indicated by the Green LED pattern. Invalid scans cause the
turnstile to remain locked and are indicated via the Red LED pattern.

Portable
Base - EDC turnstiles may be ordered as portable units affixed
to a non-skid base, with handle, wheels and guide rail.

Interface - This option allows the turnstile to communicate
with a PC or controller via RS-232 serial communication.
