Finally there is a wireless telephone entry system that is worth the price. The American Access' PhoneAire is the answer. This wireless system is fully digital. We like this system because it allows the resident a superb method of screening who is at the gate before allowing them into the property. The main thing that makes this telephone entry system so fantastic however is that NOW you do not need to dig and run wire from the house. This wireless entry systems mounts directly to a pedestal or can be surface mounted. The PhoneAire’s receiver is mounted in a standard rain-tight enclosure with a baked enamel finish and mounts directly to the side of the home or main building.
How the PhoneAire Wireless telephone system works:
The wireless telephone system that is easy to use. When a guest presses the call button a unique ring cadence alerts someone that a guest is present at the gate. Communication is made from any phone on that line and access is granted by pressing the ** on the telephone’s keypad. The gate can also be opened from inside the building without someone present at the gate. This system features call forwarding, call waiting, “one-shot” code, sleep mode, full programming capability from the interior telephone, a manual override providing phone switching in the event of damage to the telephone entry unit and an optional pinhole camera (hardwired) for additional security. For pre-authorized entry, a fully programmable 500 code keypad is provided. The PhoneAire telephone entry is a “No Phone Line” telephone entry system, allowing you to use your existing telephone line without creating an addition to the phone bill.
